ServiceMaster Commercial Services was started in February of 1992 by Robin and Joel Westphal. Robin and Joel worked in the Hospital Management Division of ServiceMaster since 1974 and decided to open their own business with an emphasis on quality workmanship and integrity. ServiceMaster Commercial Services specializes in Commercial Floor and Carpet Cleaning and Janitorial Services for clients throughout Indianapolis. ServiceMaster Restoration Services by Westphal was formed in 1999 providing Fire and Water Restoration Services and Reconstruction and for the insurance industry as well as Remodeling for private homeowners and businesses. In 2007 Robin and Joel sold their business to their sons, Neil and Nathan. Robin and Joel continued to work in the business.
